M&M Chocolate Chip Poppables

These M&M Choclate Chip Poppables may be small but they pack the same punch as the OG.

These unstoppable poppables are made from the same dough as my tried and tested classic Chocolate Chip Cookie.

A spin on my giant OG cookie. Take the irresistible cookie dough and make it poppable. We make it Valentine's Day theme by adding a M&M from the cupids mix. You won't be able to eat just one. I won't tell if you won't tell, might eat a dozen.

M&M Chocolate Chip Poppables

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Salted Butter (Cold)

  • ½ Cup Sugar

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract

  • ½ tsp. Salt

  • 3 ¼ Cups Flour

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips

  • 10 oz bag M&Ms Valentine- Cupids Mix

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut cold butter into tablespoon portions- making 16 cubes.

  3. Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar together. Add in salt and vanilla and continue to mix until combined.

  4. Add eggs and mix for 2-3 minutes on medium.

  5. Add 1 cup of flour and 1 tsp. baking soda right on top of the cup of flour. Mix and then add remaining 2 ¼ cups flour.

  6. Finally add milk chocolate chips.

  7. Portion out 1½ Tablespoons of dough and form into a ball. You should be able to bake about 30 per cookie sheet. Bake for 9-10 minutes. Your cookies should be lightly browning on top and around the edges. DO NOT OVER BAKE.

  8. Once you pull your cookies out of the oven lightly press one M&M on top.

  9. Remove from the oven and allow to rest on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before you remove onto a cooling rack.

  10. Makes 90ish poppable cookies.
